Rezumat
In present GUAM is an international intergovernmental regional organisation the members of which have absolute rights are the Republics: Georgia, Ukraine , Azerbaijan and Moldova. The organisation has an interesting history, but in law science the origin and the juridical nature of the organisation are not examined or studied, however RM is one of the charter members of this organisation. The presented article has the aim to liquidate this gap at least to a certain extent and with the hope to awake the interest in the academic media and will be useful to those who are interested in law and international affairs. The study includes an analysis of the organisation of the region 1998 (politico-economical consultative forum/association of states) till the 2006 Kiev Summit when the association was institutionalized in an international intergovernmental organisation.
