EVOLUŢIA CONCEPTULUI DE JURNALISM PENTRU DEZVOLTARE UMANĂ. CALEA CĂTRE MOLDOVA

Rezumat
Human development journalism is quite a new concept in the area of media. Since 1968, the concept evolved from “Old Wine in a New Bottle” approaches to university curriculum. In different countries and cultures it is called in different ways: “Development Journalism” in Philippines and India, “Community Journalism” in the United States, “Jornalismo para Desenvolvimento Humano” in Brazil, „Novinarstvo u funkciji ljudskog napretka” in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In Moldova the concept is known as “Jurnalism pentru dezvoltare umană”. Since 2003, “Human development journalism” is part of the university journalism curriculum at of Moldova State University. Major highlights include the fundamentals of reporting about social development, poverty, child rights, human trafficking, HIV/AIDS and other issues.
