Rezumat

One of the constituent parts of the potential destabilization and insecurity in the South-Eastern Europe region is the Transnistrian conflict - the main unresolved problem of Republic of Moldova. In this article are examined the crucial problems the Transnistrian region is confronted with. The author focuses on current developments of the Transnistrian conflict; the present framework of peace operation in Moldova and examines its efficiency. In the final remarks the author shares her concern and lessons learned from current mission in the eastern part of Moldova and conclusions drawn from it.
