Rezumat

The author in the article „Communication – important fact in establishing participative social relations in social assistance” presents essential aspects regarding the phenomenon of communication, mentioning that those are part of the preparatory curriculum for social assistants at the Faculty of Sociology and Social Assistance at USM. It mainly draws the attention at the models of verbal, nonverbal and paraverbal communication. The author also shows methods and technologies of assistential intervention, that are learned by students at the mentioned faculty. S. Milicenco promotes the idea that those social assistants, which expose their functional communication abilities, have greater chances to initiate and maintain participative relations in a society with plenty of social actors.
