Rezumat

This article is concerned with criminal research of the criminal offences linked to service. Especially, the author tries to clarify some disputable questions such as the definition of „public servant”, „a person with functions of public liability” and establishing the basic characteristic features of the subject of the criminal offence in accordance with the penal doctrine and criminal legislation of Republic of Moldova. The correlation between criminal offences linked to the service and criminal offences committed by public servants is analyzed. Several conclusions are formulated, some recommendations are proposed.
