Rezumat

A prior direction of research in the field of journalism and communication, being, at the same time, one of the most explored themes of the latest years, is imageology or the study of one’s collective representations, often portrayed in images. Concluding the concise combination of notions and concepts concerning the social image, we can assert that the image, known as a sum of person’s natural features, is fluid. This is due to the fact that there is a total bi-directional system between features, which help one’s substance (general idea or feature) to transfigure in other’s content. It is also seen between community and crowd, two related human forms: the image has the tendency to combine the individual in real space and time, similarly in symbolic and virtual space. Having common origins and similar constitutive feelings, possessing identical ways of expression and neighbouring psychological features, they can find, complete and generate each other.
