Rezumat

In article are reflected principles provided by the TV and Radio Code of Republic of Moldova, that should stay on the basic of the editorial policy to be promoted by the public broadcaster. It also describes the way the principles were implemented in the practice of Moldova1 in 2006-2009. A sample of the detailed requirements developed by French Television is presented. Axiom is grounded in the study that public opinion research should not be ignored especially regarding the rightness of reflecting the social political and economical life in the Public mass-media. Also the real situation is examined regarding the editorial policies promoted by TV Moldova 1 taking into account the new legislation passed in 2006. Proposals are given for improving the institution.
