REFLECTIONS ON PROFESSIONAL FORMATION ROLE OF RESPONSIBLE FACTORS FOR SAFETY AND HEALTH AT WORK

Abstract

This article investigates the professional formation of persons responsible for safety and health at work in Romania. In this context there was made reference to national and European legislation that treats this subject. Also were analyzed modern methods and techniques related to education and training, that should ensure as a result acquiring advanced knowledge required for fulfilling their duties safely. Here was also mentioned the consequences of accidents at work that can invoke violent injuries of the employees’ body, impairment of health, impairment of the environment, property damage, loss of image for companies, etc. Keywords: accidents, occupational disease, health and safety at work, training, risk assessment, protection measures.
