Rezumat

The main advantages of Moldova toward foreign investors compared to the new EU members (Romania and Bulgaria) are determined mostly by the labor force characteristics: high level of education and the cost of the labor. Despite of this advantages, compared to the European countries Moldova has not manage yet to catch up even the new members of European Union regarding the level of attracted foreign investors, especially regarding attracted Greenfield investments which are most significant in terms of raising employment and stimulating economic growth.
