ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AS A KEY FACTOR IN ACHIEVING SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Rezumat
In today’s world, business is undergoing significant transformations, and achieving sustainable development has
become a priority for companies. This article presents how artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming a key factor in
business sustainability. It explores its role in modern business, as well as the benefits and challenges of using AI for
sustainable development. Based on a comprehensive monographic study, the strengths and weaknesses of AI are
analyzed, highlighting the opportunities and threats it presents. The article also assesses the impact of AI on achieving
the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and provides successful examples of AI use in the context of
sustainability. The study confirms that the Sustainable Development Goals offer a framework for assessing progress
towards a more sustainable global economy.
