Abstract

ASPECTS REGARDING THE RECENT HISTORY OF FĂGĂRAŞ CONTY, THE INSTAURATION OF THE COMMUNIST REGIME IN VAD, BRAŞOV COUNTY (1951-1964) Starting with 1951 the Vad country lost its autonomy because of the new organization in to Soviet model, the village being a component of the new country Şercaia. We must outline that these changes and reorganizations have been made in a brutal manner without any historical basis, thereby the District of Făgăraş disappears, fact that wasn’t accomplished during the several hundred years of ruling of the Hungarians and Austrians.
