Rezumat

This study reflects the term from the angle of language, terminology and translation. Understanding the notions means understanding the terms. The knowledge of specialized terms is a must for a good translator, once he identifies the terms he understands its properties or specific characteristics of the term. Specialized translation is still an abyss for a simple translator. What is clear and visible for a jurist is obscure for a linguist. Bringing up some examples, it is obvious that specialized translation is the business of the specialists that are bilingual. They can be the best lawyers. The best advantage of a translator is to be a linguist.
