IMPACTUL SUMMIT-ULUI NATO DE LA BUCURESTI PENTRU REPUBLICA MOLDOVA

Rezumat

The Bucharest Summit of NATO that took place at the beginning of April 2008 meant an important step on the way for strengthening of security in the modern world, especially in Afghanistan, Iraq, Far East, Balkans and in other points of the world. The Summit analysed the question of the membership in NATO of two new countries – Albania and Croatia. The countries – member of NATO supported the territorial integrity and independence of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Republic of Moldova. We made an attempt to analyse the results of this Summit for the Republic of Moldova.
