Rezumat
The paper is devoted to the analysis of Moldovan transitional paradoxes whose objectives are materialized very slowly and result in rhetoric rather than in concrete actions. This contributed to massively impoverishing the population, to increasing social and economic inequities and to ruining the economic potential. That is why people got the feeling of vulnerability and anxiety about the necessity to face another crisis that would completely destroy everything that has been realized on the way to democracy and market economy and would create the conditions for a new neo communist totalitarian regime. The following paradoxes typical of the Moldovan transition are being analyzed: state paradox, elite paradox, standard paradox, democracy paradox, time paradox and moral paradox that should be known and surpassed to determine us as far as the character and mechanisms of further development are concerned so as to make authentic transformations in different life spheres possible.
