Rezumat

The present article has as a goal the analysis of topical tendencies in the Italian novel from the XXIst century. The research starts with the hypothesis that the present-day novel registers a backward to the social problems, especially to the problems of the children and of the young generation that are confronted with the digital civilization and the values of the mass culture. This tendency can be observed in the Italian novel, but also in European one. The author calls this tendency of the contemporary prose the anti-educational writing.
