DEMOGRAPHIC AND POLITICAL OF THE CARPATHIANS EST IN XIV CENTURY: THE HISTORIOGRAPHICAL ASPECTS

Abstract

The study is focused to examining historiographical aspects of the demographic situation in the East of the Carpathians in the XIVth century. Particular attention was given to Soviet historiography, which they tend to demonstrate creating "Moldovan people", used methods for science cannot be assessed. Despite this reality, some contemporary authors, historians using Soviet-era research results for "argument" to the existence "Moldovan people".
