Аннотация

The narrative perspective or the point of view is a complex category, the study of which has generated several theories. Not a few narrators affirm that this notion is hard to define, describing it using invented metaphor terms (window, filter, reflector, focalization ...) and, consequently, give it the different meanings, wide and deep. The research of a number of concepts of the perspective reveals the meanders of its evolution: it is either assimilated to the narrative mode (P.Lubbock, N.Friedman) or it is restricted to depth knowledge (J.Pouillon, Tz.Todorov) or it is treated as focalization (G.Genette, M.Bal, and others.). The analysis of various concepts have the purpose to justify the author's terminology options and to reconsider this notion as a working tool. Keywords: perspective, point of view, conception, focalization, narrator, narration, diegesis, discourse, mode, reflector-character.
