PROCEDURAL AND CONCEPTUAL MEANING AS CRITERIA FOR EVALUATING A BLOG GENRE

Rezumat

Introducing a traditional distinction in the Relevance theory between conceptual and procedural information, we try to define the weblogs as a genre among other digital content. Visual, structural and verbal elements, qualified as procedural, contribute to the stabilization of a weblog genre and guide the content recognition processes by the audience, which facilitates interpretation and maximizes cognitive effects.
