THE CONCEPTS OF DERIVATIONAL AFFIXES AND AFFIXOIDS

Abstract

As a rezult of the morphemic analysis the word may be divided up into roots, derivational affixes and/or grammatical affixes. Besides these components the word sometimes contains some elements of Greek or Latin origin which are named as: affixoids, semiaffixes, combining forms, neoclassical elements.
