REFLECTIONS ON THE STATUS OF PREFIXOIDS IN CONTEMPORARY LINGUISTICS

Although the concept of prefixoid was and is studied by many linguists, his status remains very controversial, since it occupies an intermediate position between word and affix. In this article, we expect to examine some definitions of this concept in contemporary linguistics and to establish criteria for identifying prefixoids.
