STYLE AND PERSPECTIVE IN THE MIGUEL DELIBES' NOVEL “LOS SANTOS INOCENTES”

Miguel Delibes (1920-2010) is undoubtedly one of the greats of the Spanish literature from the second half of the twentieth century – beginning of the twenty-first. His vast literary work is distinguished by an excellent mastery of the Castilian language, therefore we aimed to make an analysis of the novel “Los santos inocentes” (1981), which presents a range of significant particularities, namely, free indirect style, specific punctuation, abundance of dialogues, combination of registers etc. Keywords: free indirect style, narration, narrator, description, dialog, rural space.
