ELEMENTS OF NATIONAL IDENTITY REFLECTED IN THE DISCOURSE OF THE ROMANIAN INTELECTUALS FROM NĂSĂUD AREA BETWEEN 1861-1918

Abstract

In this research, the author will identify and analyse the most important elements of the national identity, that can be founded in the discourse and the acts of the Romanian intellectuals from Năsăud area between 1861-1918. The docu-mentary sources will be the documents from the Archive (from the National Archives, Bistriţa-Năsăud Department Services, Fond of Marian Reunion, Fond of the Reunion for Songs, Fond of Reunion for lecture and s. o.), but also reviews like Transilvania, Telegraful Român (both from Sibiu), The Yearbook of the Boundary Gymnasium, or works of historians which investigated this area and its history.
