EVOLUTION OF THE ENGLISH TERMINOLOGY IN THE DOMAINS OF COGNITIVE INTELLIGENCE, EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Abstract

Our study represents a comparative analysis from a functional perspective of the terminology from the domains of cognitive intelligence, emotional intelligence and artificial intelligence. We intend to trace the terms diachronically in the mentioned domains, including the cases of reterminologisation and interdisciplinary connections. The aim is to present the terminology from the domain of intelligence based on a small representative corpus of terms, with an emphasis not only on the term history and evolution, but also on the conceptual evolution.
