Abstract

Faced with external and internal post-war challenges, the communist regime proposed a „new ideological mobilization” to Soviet society. The Soviet state showed increased attention to the higher school, since this was one of the most important institutions that formed the scientific, ideological and cultural orientations in society. Thus, the resounding ideological campaigns of the late Stalinist period were preceded by the mobilization of the ,,shock team” of the university intellectuality - the professors assigned to the Marxism-Leninism chairs of the Soviet higher education institutions, responsible for teaching the disciplinea, called social, those, who were called to ensure political and ideological education, to form ,,a correct scientific vision” of the world for young people, but also for their university colleagues. The study is dedicated to the analysis of the forms of manifestation of the first Soviet ideological campaign, started by the decision of the CC of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) regarding the deficiencies in the teaching of Marxism-Leninism in the USSR and the influence of this campaign on the Soviet higher education system, which was just in the process of formation. Keywords: soviet ideological campaigns, late Stalinism, Marxism-Leninism, intellectuality, scientific and didactic staff, Communist Party (Bolsheviks) of Moldavia, MSSR.
