Аннотация

In this article, we research the state of the language from Bessarabia in the post-annexation period, analyzing the lexical variation of some Soviet daily papers, in order to identify the diastratic variation features: clichés, terms of different popular activities and daily practices of the population trained in the „construction of socialism”, but also new borrowings or calques from Russian, referring to the administrative hierarchy and the governing bodies of that period. The analyzed articles represent politicized speeches, which transmit the political values and ideas of the political party, in an attempt to channel the pre-existing attitudes of the masses, to replace their visions with diametrically opposed ideas and positions relating to the ‹capitalist world› and the ‹Soviet world›.

Keywords: lexical variation, diastratic dimension, diastratic features, technical-scientific terms, Soviet ideology.
