CALCULATING THE ITEMS’ AND TEST’S SCORES OF AN AUTHOR’S E-TEST Scoring and complexity of items in a standardized knowledge e-test are empirically adjusted based on the results of representative samples experiments. Approaches to scoring and determination of the degree of items complexity in an author’s e-test are not sufficiently covered in pedagogical literature. This paper presents an attempt to uniformly score and determine the level of complexity of the most commonly used types of objective and semi-objective items present through the majority of the modern e-learning/e-testing platforms. The results of such tests are obtained by simple summing up of the items’ results. Keywords: item, scoring, level of complexity, e-test, e-test score.
