LIFE QUALITY PERCEPTION BY DIFFERENT TYPES OF PERSONALITY (extrovert or introvert) This research work was done in the context of increasing interest in highlighting the factors responsible for maintai- ning psychological well-being in young people. Thus, to study these subjects we have realized two experimental sets as follows: The first experimental set, done on 50 subjects, was oriented at identifying the hierarchy of happiness components. The results showed that in the view of young people happiness involves health, family and emotional well-being, while the material aspect was placed precisely on the sixth level, and social life - on the eighth. The second experimental set, made on 90 subjects, implied determining the relationship between the perception of life quality and the youngster’s personality type (extrovert or introvert). It was found that extraverts are more susceptible than introverts to live more intense feelings of well, and even happiness, while introverts wellbeing and happiness is more stable as strictly depends on inner feelings and perceptions. According to the philosophy of young people, happiness does not mean to live in a perfect world, but to improve the world you live in according to your own intentions. Perception of life quality varies by personality type, i.e. extroverted wellbeing is flexible, varying according to what is happening outside, but can reach the highest levels, people feeling intense joy and even happiness. The opposite side of the balance is occupied by introverts’wellbeing, its intensity being much lower and stability much higher. Keywords: quality of life, happiness, emotional well-being, material well-being, extroversion, introversion, subjective state well.
