CONCEPTUALIZING OPTIMIZATION/DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATIONAL CURRICULUM These articles put into discussion the issue of educational curriculum optimizing/developing and also there are pre- sented the following conceptual stipulations: • Optimization/development of curriculum is part of a larger approach that comprises designing and implementing educational curriculum, realizing specific functions. • Optimization/development of curriculum can be regarded as a theory, as a principle and as a way of quality assu- rance of curriculum documents and educational process. • Optimization/curriculum development is a determining factor in ensuring quality of educational curriculum. At the same time, the efficiency of optimization/development process is determined by psychosocial, educational and logistics conditions. • Optimization/development of educational curriculum is a continuous process determined by the needs and trends of education progress at international and national level.
