THE RETROSPECTIVE OF THE PROBLEM OF ANXIETY IN PSYCHOLOGY In this article there is analyzed the problem of anxiety from retrospective perspective. The article focuses on the approach of C.Darwin – the main idea is that the state of anxiety represents an efficient mechanism of adaptation; on the approach of S.Freud – the idea is that the anguish is a conscious suffering; the approach of J.Tayler – who proposed the notion of "anxiety level". In the same time there is analyzed the concept of anxiety from social and behavioral points of view.
