THE HISTORICAL EVOLUTION OF MENTORING IN EDUCATION The content of article represents an examination of historical meanings of the concepts: mentor, disciple and mentoring. The epistemological value of terms contributes to taking over the incipient mentoring methods and their adaptation to humanity development during of historical evolution. The author identifies the impact of applying of mentoring activities in many countries as well as approaching of this subject in up-to-date educational politics of the Republic of Moldova.
