INTERNSHIP – AN IMPORTANT ELEMENT FOR THE STUDENTS 'ACADEMIC LEARNING EXPERIENCE Today we understand better than ever that we live in a constantly changing world. In order to confront the future, education and training systems, in general, the teacher training, espectally, needs to be adapted to provide a broad knowledge bas′s and to develop the skills necessary for active life. Internships are the first attempt of integration in the chosen field. They provide a direct and profound contact with the professional world which involves who for several weeks in a company or institution, becoming the "shadow" of the employees. They are designed primarily as a tool for acquiring practical skills and abilities by young specialists and students. Keywords: internship, learning by experience.
