PSYCHOLOGICAL EXAMINATION OF DRIVERS: REASON AND NECESSITY The major importance of transports (road transport), their quality, efficiency and safety for the society are re-intro- ducing the driver in the foreground. In this article, we treat the problem of psychological examinations of candidates for drivers, and the drivers themselves as a necessary aspect in their professional training and in promoting safety traffic. The concept and the legislative provisions are exposed; some psychological aspects of driving are emphasized in the context of capitalizing the individual driver's potential.
