UNIVERSITY GOVERNANCE STRUCTURES - DIMENSION OF PROMOTING AND SUSTAINING GREATER INSTITUTIONAL AUTONOMY COMBINED WITH PUBLIC RESPONSIBILITY The article refers to the reforms regarding the university governance started with the implementation of the Education Code, to the contribution of the new strategic institutional development Councils for the development of the institution, the improvement of the activity of these Councils and the cooperation with the university senates for the beneficiaries of the higher education institution.
