Abstract
ANALYSIS OF DEVELOPMENT POLICIES AND LEGISLATIVE FRAMEWORK TO SUPPORT BUSINESS INCUBATORS AT THE NATIONAL AND THE EUROPEAN UNION LEVEL The article investigates the role of development policies and the legislative framework in stimulating innovations in the European Union and in the Republic of Moldova. Innovation is currently in decline, this issue must be eliminated if the Republic of Moldova wants to improve the quality of life of its citizens and, at the same time, become competitive on the global market. This requires a more productive entrepreneurial spirit. During the research, the authors analysed how the conditions of the legislative framework in the Republic of Moldova and the EU can become more favourable for supporting business and innovation incubators, a reform strategy being developed to achieve this goal.
