Abstract

DESIGN OF A DATA MINING APPLICATION FOR NEW CLIENT AQUISITION In order to identify new customers, companies can use Data Mining applications. This paper presents both the design of such an application and the steps and activities to be performed. Suggestions are also given for the appropriate artificial intelligence algorithms to be used at each step. Finally, there is presented a suite of metrics that can be used in the evalua- tion of the developed system. Keywords: artificial intelligence, machine learning, marketing, communication.
