Abstract

This present paper reflects the essence of the world economy as a science and the object of study, its methodological problems, and the main research methods: the analysis and synthesis, the method of international comparison, the research of future, which is a key modern problem, as well as the role of global economic models for an equilibrated development of the world economy.
