Abstract

„Globalization” as an economic category is more and more criticized in the specialty economic international literature being considered as a buzz-word created by the fall of the „iron curtain”. However, in the Republic of Moldova, „globalization” still persists in the academic and political discourse, this producing confusion in defining objectives and ways of provision of national economic interests. In this sense, the term of „mondialism” as a trend of the world economic practice and theory seems more compelling.
