Abstract
In the latest years increased attention is paid to the study of physical properties of the semiconductor structures with reduced dimensions due to the perspectives of their utilization in various domains. In this paper there is investigated the excitonic properties of the quantum points of siliceous, place it in a dielectric medium. In the framework of the approximation of the effective mass there have been calculated, using the non-variation theory, the energetic electronic and void levels of theory. The obtained results are in accordance with the experimental data.
