Abstract

The management of the investment activity within the enterprise provides the development and implementation of the investment strategy, which is seen at the macro- and micro-economic level. The macroeconomic investment strategy contributes to solving the social problems and improving the investment climate in the country’s economy. The microeconomic investment strategy reflects the development plans of the economic entity in the allocation of the capitals over a long term. The investment strategy of the company is seen in several interrelated aspects: institutional, economic, legislative- normative, informational, and analytical. The necessity of forming the company’s investment strategy is conditioned by the fact that the investment resources are limited, but the potential investment targets are numerous and have a different attractiveness. The development of the investment strategy depends on internal and external factors. At the basis of the development of the investment strategy is a system of principles. The development process of the investment strategy crosses through a row of steps. The investment strategy can have many purposes, which are classified according to different criteria and depending on the life cycle of the company. There are many types of investment strategy and the selection will depend on several factors.
