ESTIMATING THE ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY OF THE LAND FUND IN AGRICULTURE: THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS

Abstract

The article addresses the concept of efficiency in many forms: technological, economic, social, environmental. It delineates the differences between the notion of output and global economic efficiency of the land fund. It argues the need to apply natural indicators and values according to different visions of scientists. The indicator system is proposed for estimating partial and global economic efficiency of the land fund. The traditional system was completed by indicators of biological agriculture efficiency.
