PECULIARITIES OF REGIONAL PORT COMPLEXES MANAGEMENT –THE APPLICATION OF INTEGRATED TERMINAL

Abstract

Seaports play an important role in shaping the country's transport system and developing foreign relations. Being the international "gates", they provide more than 50% of foreign trade. The most important factor of competitiveness commercial seaports is the layout of modern means for processing loads and efficiency of their use. Unique technology transport transportation involves a continuous process to minimize disturbance situations, particularly in transshipment points. Currently in Romania there is very acute the problem of the creation of the network of terminals in ports and connection points crossroads of transport routes in the implementation of integrated management.
