SOCIAL PROTECTION IN ROMANIA THROUGH THE COMMUNITY SOCIAL POLICY

Abstract

The social protection system in any Member State of the European Union, including our country, no doubt, must correspond not only by form, but also in fond to community’s social policy. For this purpose, a comparative study of national and community welfare social protection systems is required. In the article we reflect on changes that occurred in the Community and national social protection systems, following the practice of their operation and come out with some proposals, aiming acceleration of adjustment process to the requirements of European Union social policy.
