Abstract

Among the many existing definitions defining the essence of social tourism, the idea prevails that this species is just a branch of the general economic sphere, which is divided into commercial and social parts. The study suggests a different view on social tourism, which shows its deep and mutually beneficial relationship with the socio-economic development of the regions of the world. In such a definition, social tourism should already be considered as a direction of general social policy, which, using its tools to raise funds from private sources, takes an active part in the maintenance and development of tourism and general infrastructure. Applying the system of blockade (cryptoeconomics) in various regions of the world (countries), this approach will help to reduce the cost of organizing external social tourism as the basis for globalization, continentalization and international partnership. Keywords: social tourism, tourism, social policy, cryptoeconomics, sources of financing, economic development.
