AGRIFOOD SECTOR FROM REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA: PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS

Abstract

Although the development of the agrifood sector and agri-food trade remains one of the main priorities of the Moldovan economy, it is still underdeveloped. This conclusion is based on the following survey conducted by the author on the basis of 190 interviewed enterprises. The result of the survey reveals that domestic producers face various trade-related problems, and the government of the Republic of Moldova would be timely and rational to step up their efforts to implement actions to this end.
