THE PROBLEMATICS OF MEDICINES' PRICE FORMATION: EVOLUTIONARY ASPECTS

Abstract

This article reflects some aspects of the problematics development regarding the medicine prices. This complex economic activity depends largely on government regulations, which are associated with some specific features of the pharmaceutical market. Medicine pricing is determined not only by the production and the market factors, but is directly influenced by the adopted legislation and significant expenditure which the research and innovation activities require in this field.
