ABOUT LYAPUNOV STABILITY OF STATIONARY POINTS IN THE RESTRICTED PROBLEM OF EIGHT BODIES

Abstract

The Newtonian restricted problem of 8-bodies is considered. The conditions of existence of the configuration are studied and the stationary solutions (equilibrium positions) in the restricted problem by eight bodies with incomplete symmetry is determined in this paper. We investigate Lyapunov stability of stable stationary points in the first approximation.
