EFFECTS OF IMPLEMENTING EU PRACTICES ON THE FORMATION OF THE NATIONAL BUDGET FOR ENSURING THE FINANCIAL SECURITY OF THE STATE

Abstract

The National Public Budget is the basic document in the efficient management of the state, being a tool for achieving

national priorities in order to guide the course of the economic and social policy of the state in the right direction. The European Union has focused its efforts on ensuring the financial security of the Member States by adopting a set of standards by which public finances are managed transparently, contributing to economic growth. We need to adjust national budgeting rules according to the best European requirements is important for the Republic of Moldova, especially in the context of European aspirations. The basic objective of the research was to elucidate the specifics of European standards applied in the Republic of Moldova and to present new practices adopted by the EU which are to be implemented in the future at national level, while formulating recommendations to improve national budgeting and financial security of the state.
