Abstract
Purpose of the article: resides in the evaluation of national experiences and the way in which strategic documents are drawn up in the context of ensuring the well-being and security of citizens through the analysis of the
European experience in the formation and approval of the budgets of the member states in order to identify the
implications for the Republic of Moldova. Taking over the experience of the member states of the European Union in the formation of the NPB is crucial for the sustainable development of the country. This can contribute to
strengthening transparency, efficiency and accountability in the use of financial resources, ensuring the well-being
and financial security of citizens. The originality of the research consists in the elucidation of the best practices
applied at the level of the member states of the European Union in the budgetary field in order to implement them
at the national level.
