Abstract

This article analyzes the situation on the exchange market of Republic of Moldova for 2000-2009 periods, the factors which caused the national currency appreciation and the effects over the economy in condition of financial and economic crises. Also, we have tried to forecast the evolution of Moldavian currency market in 2009. We have presented some mea sures which, from our point of view, need to be taken in order to withstand the negative effects within the national economy.
