Insurance market represents all economic relations of the sales of the insurance services. The importance of financial market development in Moldova involves rapid and solid growth of the insurance industry because of the role this sector plays in the economy. The evidence suggests that the insurance market contributes materially to economic growth by improving the investment climate and promoting a more efficient mix of activities than would be undertaken in the absence of risk management instruments. Insurers allow communities to recover from the disastrous financial consequences of natural catastrophes or human related events.
